It's funny and silly and has no point, like the show. If you like Brak and Zorak from "Brak Presents the Brak Show Starring Brak" then you'll like this CD. Some who liked "Space Ghost Coast to Coast" would probably like it, too. But hilarious. I loved it--I would have bought the entire CD just for "Highway 40".
My husband bought this for our 8 and 5 yr old boys after hearing the song "Highway 40" on the radio. While that song and others are funny and enjoyable, there are numerous uses throughout the album of words like stupid, idiot, butt and other words I don't want my kids listening to or repeating. Especially the 5 yr old. Wouldn't recommend this for young kids.
I love the Brak show so I thought this cd would be amazing. I sadly skimped over the fact that it is "children's music" so with that known some of the songs easily get annoying. which never happens on the show.
It you liked Space Ghost Coast to Coast, you will probably enjoy this CD. Some real people guest star too, including Irish folk music group the Chieftains, actor Freddie Prinze Jr.
Brak was a character on Space Ghost Coast to Coast. This is the soundtrack to a TV special called "Brak Presents The Brak Show Starring Brak".
He has several special guests helping him out, including cartoon characters Zorak, Grape Ape and Wally Gator. He is known for his extreme stupidity.
On this album, he sings a bunch of silly, moronic songs, which are actually rather funny. and wrestler Diamond Dallas Page.
If you never saw that show, you will most likely be baffled by this CD.
I heard "Highway 40" on XMKids channel in XM Satellite Radio and the kids and I can't get it out of my head. I'm buying this immediately. Lil' Jimmy and Ramone will sing along with glee.
